Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) was established by JK Cement Nimbahera Foundation through legislation of ‘Sir Padampat Singhania University Act 2008’ by Govt. of Rajasthan. It is located on a 100-acre campus with all modern amenities. The current sanctioned intake for all courses is 380 annually, with a current strength of nearly 300 students and 54 faculty members. The current student-to-teacher ratio at SPSU is 14:1. The university has two schools: School of Engineering and School of Management, both offering programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Admission to courses is granted on the basis of the score obtained in the SPSAT entrance exam conducted by the university.  


In addition to this, SPSU Udaipur has achieved 100% placement with 38% of the batch receiving more than 1 job offer. The highest CTC is offered at INR 13 LPA by Indian Merchant Navy whereas second-highest CTC is offered at INR 10 LPA by Byju’s. J K Cement Nimbahera Foundation (JKCNF) is associated with twelve educational institutions imparting education to nearly 14000 students at various levels of the learning curve. The J K Cement Nimbahera Foundation envisioned the establishment of a world-class University in Rajasthan benchmarked to international educational institutions. Sir Padampat Singhania University Admission

All admissions to Sir Padampat Singhania University are through the Sir Padampat Singhania Admission Test (SPSAT). The candidates are required to qualify in the SPSAT conducted separately for each course. The eligible candidates seeking admission are required to fill out the Admission Application Form online at SPS University website ( by paying INR 1,175. Candidates have to take the SPSAT within ten days of their registration. Those who qualify in the SPSAT may visit the university personally for admission.

Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) has an active placement cell that works as a liaison between the industry and the institute. The university constantly conducts placement related activities like organizing seminars, workshops, webinars, lecture series and interactive sessions to help students prepare for the interviews. Sir Padampat Singhania University Scholarship

SPSU has a very efficient and dedicated scholarship program that provides financial assistance to those students that find themselves incapable of paying the tuition fee in full. The university provides special scholarships to outstanding past achievers for the full duration of the course at SPSU (B.Tech, BBA, M.Tech or MBA). Awarding of scholarships is contingent on verification of signed certificates from school principals (or relevant authorities). Students must have >=50% in X and XII to be eligible for any scholarship.

  • Academic Achievements: 75% scholarship for District toppers in Board exams (X or XII) and 60% scholarship for School toppers in Board exams (X or XII).
  • Extracurricular Achievements: 75% scholarship for exceptional sports/cultural achievements.

  • Labs: The university houses state of the art classrooms and laboratories to students for better and more interactive learning. The labs and classrooms are all fully equipped and smartly planned. 
  • Library: The University Library is well stocked with a collection of printed and digital reading material on various disciplines. Books are available for reading and issuing purposes. 
  • Hostel: Accommodation is available with 6 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels, all equipped with necessary facilities such as Internet, TV, Newspapers, Magazines, table tennis board, badminton court, etc. Laundry provisions are also available to all residents. 
  • Food: Mess is available in all hostels. Apart from this, the Food Court comprises of Snacks Bar and Happiness (Ice Cream Parlour), which provides delicious and quality foods like burger, pizza, rolls, tea, coffee, cold drinks, fruit juice etc. to students and staff of SPS University.
  • Health Care: The university has a functional dispensary with a resident medical attendant is available 24 X 7 in the University premises to provide medical aid to the residents. The University has an ambulance for 24 X 7 emergency. The University has also tied up with the leading hospitals of the city.
  • ATM: The university houses a Bank of Baroda ATM at the university entrance for easy access to Bank Accounts.

More than 60% of the faculty consists of Ph.D. holders from reputed universities, and are extremely accomplished in their respective disciplines. Suresh GyanVihar University is incorporated by Government of Rajasthan Act 2008 (Act no 16 of 2008) and established through an extraordinary gazette notification on 21 April 2008. The University is entitled to conduct various courses at UG, PG and Doctoral level in the disciplines described in schedule II of the Act.

University Grant Commission has release the approval for the establishment of the University and empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC U/S 22 of UGC Act 1956 through its notification no. F.9-38/2008(CPP-I) dated 1 April 2009.

Under the guidelines for private university regulation 2003,UGC has constituted an expert committee to assess the University. The report of the committee was considered by the commission in its 467th meeting and approves the report of UGC expert committee in respect of the University (F.NO.9-38/2008(CPP-I/PU) dated 17 February 2010.

AICTE Approved

Besides the fact, that Suresh GyanVihar University is running several programmes approved by AICTE, kindly note that as per the AICTE notification (advertisement no. UB/04(03)/2010) University does not require prior approval of AICTE to commence a new department or course and programme in technical education. For conducting technical courses approval of AICTE is not necessary, however, Universities have obligation to conform to the standards and norms laid down by the AICTE (reference Hon’ble Supreme court of India for the interpretation of the provisions of the AICTE Act in the matter of Bharathidasan University vs. AICTE and others).
